City of Toronto to Commence Construction Project at Intersection of Lakeshore Blvd. West and Bathurst Street
Toronto (February 3, 2025) – Beginning mid-February 2025, the City of Toronto will undertake a watermain and streetcar track construction project at the intersection of Bathurst Street and Lakeshore Boulevard West that will impact travel to and from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
The City anticipates that construction will be completed by end of June 2025. Below is information about the phasing of work and anticipated travel restrictions in the area.

Following restoration work and TTC streetcar testing, resumption of TTC service is expected at the end of June 2025.
