31/08/2018

Toronto (August 31, 2018) – As part of the first phase of the City of Toronto’s Bathurst Quay Neighbourhood Plan, PortsToronto will begin phase two of geo-technical investigations (drilling of boreholes) in the vicinity of Eireann Quay south of Queens Quay.

PortsToronto is working in collaboration with the City of Toronto on a City-Side Modernization project that will address traffic and access issues in the vicinity of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and improve the public realm for the enjoyment of passengers and the community. The work will begin on Friday, September 7, 2018 and will continue for approximately 2-3 days.

Drilling will take place during daytime hours and will help to inform design decisions related to pavement improvements within the Billy Bishop Airport taxi corral, parking lot and finger lot.
