PortsToronto Announces New Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy
Toronto (July 24, 2024) — Following a national search, PortsToronto is pleased to announce that Mr. John Peellegoda will be joining its leadership team as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy, effective July 29, 2024. Mr. Peellegoda will succeed Mr. Alan Paul, who is retiring after 38 years with PortsToronto.
Mr. Peellegoda brings over 20 years of experience to the organization, having held senior financial roles in transportation, power and utility and various other financial services institutions. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant and holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
In his capacity as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy, Mr. Peellegoda will be responsible for overseeing all facets of financial operations and strategic planning at PortsToronto.
