Audit and Finance Committee

The primary purpose of the Audit and Finance Committee is to assist the Board of Directors in its oversight of:

• The integrity of PortsToronto’s financial reporting process and system of internal controls regarding financial reporting and accounting compliance;
• PortsToronto’s compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
• PortsToronto’s external auditor’s qualifications, independence and performance;
• The performance of PortsToronto’s internal audit function;
• All other matters relating to PortsToronto’s financial reporting systems and risk management.

Governance and Human Resources Committee

The primary purposes of the Governance and Human Resources Committee are to assist the Board of Directors in corporate governance, human resource and compensation matters and to interface with User Groups to facilitate Director nominations.

The primary purpose of the Communications and Outreach Committee is to assist the Board with respect to PortsToronto’s communications strategies and community outreach efforts.

The primary purpose of the Pension Committee is to administer PortsToronto’s pension plans and to make recommendations to the board of directors on matters relating to the pension plans.
