Community Liaison Committee
PortsToronto works closely with its neighbours at the waterfront. In 2010 it set up a Community Liaison Committee (CLC) to further expand community engagement and communications with the residents and businesses near Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
The CLC gives neighbours a forum to discuss issues and concerns related to airport development, activities and operations. The committee also enables airport management to communicate operational activities and information with stakeholders and the broader community.
Who is involved in the committee?
Key representatives from neighbourhood community groups, local businesses and stakeholders, as well as local city councillors and members of provincial and federal parliaments, make up the membership of the CLC.
